Distances from major ports and airports:

From Olbia (Port / Airport—about 1 hour 15 minutes): Take the 131 DCN toward Nuoro. Take the exit for Dorgali/Cala Gonone (SS 125) and continue following the signs for Cala Gonone. After passing through the tunnel, continue on the S.P. 26: you’ll find the hotel on your left before descending into the town center.
From Alghero (about 2 hours): Take the SS 291 toward Sassari, merge onto the SS 131 toward Cagliari, then take the exit onto the SS 129 toward Nuoro and continue on the 131 DCN until the Dorgali/Cala Gonone exit.
From Cagliari (Porto / Elmas – about 2 hours 30 minutes): Take the SS 131 toward Nuoro, then take the SS 131 DCN and continue until the Dorgali/Cala Gonone exit.

On-site parking: upon arrival, you’ll find our private parking lot, where you can leave your vehicle in complete safety for the duration of your stay on the property.

Once at the hotel, you won’t need a car to explore Cala Gonone or go to the beach. Our free shuttle service takes you straight to Cala Gonone’s beaches and the harbour. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! Hotel Brancamaria is a true hidden gem. The staff were the friendliest I encountered in all of Italy — welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. The check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the location is excellent, within walking distance of the marina. The breakfast was wonderful, and the full-course dinner menu was equally impressive — delicious and beautifully presented. As a thoughtful touch, we had to check out before dawn, and the staff kindly prepared breakfast lunch boxes for us to take on the road. I also loved the two adorable little dogs around the property — they added a lovely, homely charm. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Brancamaria and truly praise the entire staff for making our stay exceptional.
